Anna Lou jewellery is on my Christmas list!

Anyone who regularly reads my blog knows I have a penchant for jewellery both fine and costume and I am never without a necklace, earrings or bracelet. So I was excited to meet Anna Lou of Anna Lou jewellery at our suite for London Fashion Week. I have fallen a little in love and will be ordering several pieces in anticipation of Christmas. hand-made gold plated, rose gold plated and silver pieces come in a wide variety of designs and most can be engraved which makes them truly unique and special. There are also some beautiful enamels and solid gold pieces for extra special gifts and treats.

Want - Mui Mui cracked leather loafers - just a little in love...

I'm getting my wish list together for the new season and am in love. It won't last - I'm fickle like that, but for the moment my fashion lust-after was found on The Telegraph site's fashion pages. Mui Mui cracked leather loafers are made from calf leather and have a silver toecap. Beautiful!


   

Stop Press - SALE of Ash shoes and sandals

Get them before they go - I did and I simply LOVE my new metallic Ash sandals which I bought in the sale for an amazing saving of £77!

These were originally £129 and are now £51.60 but there are lots on sale at the Ash site now so get those last minute holiday bargains! Here is what they look like not on my foot...

Straw Hats for women - perfect sun cover

Sun's out again and even I (with my larger than average head - no really not an empty boast it is) am considering buying a straw hat to shade my eyes and keep the sun off my head. Of course I need a bit of style for this particular accessory (and they have to suit my sunglasses) so I went online as I must admit I was a bit uninspired by what the high-street has to offer, and came across Village Hats who have hats for men and women and pretty much every occasion. Here is a selection of my favourites for keeping off the sun.

Galloping Horses designs make an impact at French Connection

I love this collection from High Street label French Connection as you can take as little or as much of it as you want and it will still have impact. Monochrome (all pieces are black/white/grey) and stylish this is fashion for little girls who loved My Little Pony (and those who didn't). The textile designs are really well drawn and I completely fell in love with the embroidered pieces. On sale on the French Connection site now I will soon be seen sporting the sheer shirt and the shopper which will easily take me through to Autumn/Winter.

Bring on the Sun with glasses from Gant

I want to cry when I look out of the window and wonder if we will ever see the sun again. Are we doomed to yet another rubbish summer where swimsuits only come out when we go on a holiday abroad and there's no need for suncream if we stay at home? I do hope not and to turn my back on thoughts of clouds and wind I have been searching for the perfect pair of summer sunglasses to get me all set for when it does come back. And I found these retro cool beauties for boys and girls by Michael Bastian for Gant. They hark back to Mad Men and, well my Dad really, and I love them all. At £100 a pop they aren't too badly priced either.... sadly they haven't loaded them all onto the site yet but it's only a matter of time so keep a look out!

Russell & Bromley Autumn/Winter 2013 sneak preview

Another week another sneak preview and this time it's Russell & Bromley who brought us a plethora of ponyskin, sparkles, suede, sneakers, tall boots, cropped boots and shiny, shiny loafers. Love it all! Can't wait for Winter (well almost) and am pleased that we will all soon be back in pointy-toed heaven.

Sneak preview time and once again we got to take a look at the Autumn/Winter collection at Jaeger. I love Jaeger, they create classics that are both wearable but are also on trend - just check out the neon's that are currently in store and continue into the winter. Fabrics are always high quality - soft woollens, silks and cottons.

Clarks Autumn/Winter range preview...

Getting a sneak preview of Clarks ranges is always an extra special treat as they always push the boat out to ensure that the event is fun and a bit different. This one, for Clarks Autumn/Winter women's, men's and children's collections was no let down with a Farmer's Market theme. We were even encouraged to help ourselves to fresh artisan loaves, fruit, vegetables and cake! The shoes were great too and here are a few of the styles we can look forward to later in the year.
