I love my Filofax and don't care that it's not electronic but good old-fashioned paper. After all, the old-fashioned cocktail has made a big impact this year so it augers well for other slightly old-fashioned things too. Nothing old-fashioned about these new additions to the Filofax range though - they are bold, beautiful and fluoro!

This design is based on the original which I had back in the '80's and still have in a box somewhere at home with some very interesting phone numbers if I look back. Anyway back to the present day The Original is made from extra thick leather and is made in Britain using traditional leather-work skills. It's also available in soft brown and a retro green if the orange (or indeed the yellow, purple or fuchsia) are too much. Available in personal or A5 The Original Filofax is £60 to £80.

Selain itu faktor lainnya adalah akan sedikit menambah beban berat loading blog. Tetapi apabila pengunjung menggunakan koneksi internet yang stabil maka akan mudah, enak dan cpat untuk mendengarkan musik yang tlah tersedia. Menuju ke cara memasang dan membuat playlist pada topik ini.

1. Silahkan anda pergi ke website scmplayer.net
2. Anda akan melihat tampilan sperti gambar diatas, lalu pilih Choose Skin.
    Kamu dapat memilih tampilan yang sesuai dengan tema blog dan bebas memilih skin playlist / warna yang tersedia.
3. Kemudian klik bagian selanjutnya yaitu Edit Playlist.
4. Di dalam kotak tersebut terdapat 2 pilihan.

• Manual Playlist = Memasang lagu dengan url manual. Jadi kita perlu melakukan upload terlebih dahulu, atau bisa juga melalui website lain seperti 4hared,beeMP3,MP3Skull, dll.
• RSS Podcast / SoundCloud Set / Youtube Playlist = Disini terdapat 3 opsi yang dapat dilakukan salah satunya bisa melalui Youtube. Jadi, kita hanya prlu mencari video / lagu yang ingin dicari. Nanti pada saat dimainkan di blog, hanya audio / suara saja yang akan terdengar. Videonya tidak akan ditampilkan. Carilah lagu yang video nya asli biar suara musik tersebut bagus dan belum diedit orang lain.

Perhatikan pada gambar yang saya lingkari merah, disini terterah contoh untuk memasukan lagu yang anda inginkan, silahkan anda cari situs yang menyediakan lagu atau bisa anda upload sendiri ataupun mencari diyoutube.com video yang nantinya sebagai url lagu.(bukan menampilkan video, hanya suara dari video). Pastikan anda memasukkan url dengan benar agar mp3 tersebut dapat muncul dan berjalan di blog.

Kemudian klik pada tab Configure Settings untuk mengatur lagu yang sudah kita pilih tadi, atur sesuai keinginan anda. Jika sudah selesai, klik tombol Done atau Save. Kemudian copy script code mp3 yang diberikan.

Langkah terakhir anda hanya perlu memasukkan kode tersebut ke dalam Widget anda.
Caranya :
1. Masuk ke Blogger.com
2. Pilih Layout / Design / Tata Letak, kemudian pilih letak yang sesuai dan klik Tambah Gadget / Widget.
3. Pilih HTML/Javascript
4. Masukkan kode yang tadi di copy dan letakkan di dalam kotak kedua (yang besar).
5. Save Template.

Lobatan-Australian Man Claims To Be Jesus Reborn

A former IT Specialist in Australia claims to be Jesus and he's already gathered some followers. According to Sky News, Alan John Miller, or AJ as he prefers to be known, runs a religious movement known as the Divine Truth from his home near the small town of Kingaroy in the state of Queensland.

Miller also claims that his Australian partner (in the picture) is Mary Magdalene and she was present at the crucifixion. He recalled raising his friend, Lazarus from the dead.


The sad thing is that people actually believe this man. A California man, George Hamel left behind a business and his wife in the United States to be closer to Mr Miller and his teachings. He firmly believes Mr Miller is Jesus Christ and insists there's nothing sinister about him.

Another British woman Louise "Luli" Faver, 39, is a former neuroscientist who gave up her career to be closer to the couple.

Miller must be saying the right things to attract these people.

News online reports that  BrymO has finally decided to push the button into walking out of his contract which he signed few years ago.

 HipHopWorld Magazine broke the news earlier today Brymo has decided to call it quits with Chocolate City.

 This latest development occurs barely two months after former label mate Jesse Jagz walked away from the company. HipHopWorld has it on reliable information that the “Ara” singer officially parted ways with ‘Choc City’ over the weekend; but both parties have managed to keep a lid on the issue until now. Brymo has been rumored to be not-so-friendly with some members of the Choc family; and apart from the business side of things, it doesn’t seem like ‘The Son of a Kapenta’ will be sorely missed by his remaining label-mates.

Chocolate City now only has M.I and Ice Prince left as its established acts.

Omarion sued by fans.

Fans of Omarion are taking him to court after they were allegedly harassed and beaten at one of his shows. According to reports, several fights broke out during the show and fans were subsequently forced outside into a parking lot by security personel. The fights then escalated which resulted in some fans being injured. The amount the fans are seeking from Omarion and the event owner has not been disclosed.

A hidden gem in Foley Street and built around 1890, The Attendant is a converted men's toilet complete with urinal stalls to perch at and eat your sandwich. Now I know that doesn't sound that appetising but it really is worth a quick visit if you need to rest your feet and refuel on a shopping trip to the West End. It really is just a sandwich bar but the quality is good, produce fresh and coffee is delicious. Ironically there is no toilet however so don't see this as a loo-break too....

Tapi perlu saudara catat bahwa fitur default blogger ini hanya bekerja pada template blog default dari blogger.com. Jadi tidak jaminan trik ini akan bekerja pada template dari sumber-sumber lain yang pada umumnya memiliki susunan letak elemen yang berbeda-beda serta layout berbeda.

Jadi jika anda menggunakan template dari sumber lain, maka template itu kemungkinan harus dilepas dulu jika anda mau bermain-main dengan Perancang Template Blogger ini. Sebenarnya perancang template ini bisa membuat tampilan blog yang menarik, rapih, dan teratur layaknya seperti Website Personal. Hanya saja hal tersebut dapat dilakukan jika kamu sudah terampil dan ahli menggunakannya.

Jadi langsung saja kita bahas bagaimana mengedit tampilan Blog anda. Ingat, apapun template default yang telah anda pilih, semuanya bisa diedit di Perancang Template, termasuk template Dinamis… Jadi perhatikan langkah dan tahapannya :

Cara Mengedit Blog (Cara 1) :

• Di Dashbord, klik judul blog anda.
• Anda akan dibawa ke halaman Ikhtisar yang berisi data umum blog…
• Lihat di bagian kiri layar browser anda. Di situ terdapat beberapa menu secara vertical. Silahkan klik menu Template. Ini adalah menu yang akan sering digunakan jika anda sedang belajar cara membuat blog di blogger.
• Pada layar tampilan menu Template anda akan melihat tombol orange yang bertuliskan Sesuaikan. Klik tombol tersebut.

Cara Mengedit Blog Cara 2 :
1. Masuk ke Blogger, Pilih Layout / Tata Letak / Rancangan.
2. Klik Tmplate Designer maka anda secara otomatis akan masuk ke tempat pengeditan template.

Anda akan langsung diantar ke Perancang TEMPLATE BLOGGER, dan di situ ada 5 menu dasar, yaitu Template, Latar Belakang, Sesuaikan Lebar, Tata Letak, dan Tingkat Lanjut.

Pada menu template ada 7 template dasar yang bisa saudara pilih. Setiap Template dasar mempunyai beberapa pilihan modifikasi template. Jadi silahkan diklik yang sesuai keinginan anda. Lalu klik tombol Terapkan / Apply Ke Blog di kanan atas layar anda seperti pada gambar pertama.

Pada menu Latar Belakang, anda akan melihat sebuah kotak hitam dengan tulisan “Gambar Latar” di atasnya. Silahkan klik pahah kecil pada kotak hitam tersebut untuk melihat pilihan gambar latar lainnya…. Buka semua kategori yang ada sampai anda menemukan gambar tampilan latar belakang yang anda suka. Jika sudah ketemu silahkan klik tombol Selesai, di bagian bawah.

Lewati terlebih dahulu menu Sesuaikan Lebar, sebaiknya anda lanjut dulu memilih di menu Tata Letak. Di menu ini anda bisa memilih bagaimana pengaturan area untuk artikel, sidebar, dan footer dari template blog yang sedang anda edit. Silahkan pilih Tata Letak Isi, dan Tata Letak Kaki yang disukai, setelah itu klik Terapkan Ke Blog.

Sekarang kembali ke menu Sesuaikan Lebar. Di sini ada pengaturan Lebar Seluruh Blog dan Lebar Sidebar yang terpasang di dalamnya. Silahkan lihat tampilan preview di bagian bawah jendela perancang Template untuk melihat perubahan lebar. Jika sudah selesai, silahkan klik Terapkan Ke Blog.
Menu terakhir adalah Tingkat Lanjut. Walaupun namanya tingkat lanjut tapi tidak ada yang perlu ditakutkan,…ini benar-benar sangat biasa saja. Pada menu ini ada banyak sekali pilihan pengaturan warna.  Baik itu Latar, Judul, Link, Teks dalam Halaman, dan lain sebagainya. Silahkan atur dan edit sesuka keinginan anda, tidak akan ada masalah. Kalau anda sudah menemukan komposisi warna yang anda sukai silahkan klik Terapkan Ke Blog.

Mouth-Watering Dessert Recipes from Provence

A friend asked me to provide dessert for a get-together for 8. I love ice-cream but turning up with a bucket of pre-bought just wasn't showing the right amount of effort so I dug out my Provence Cookery School recipe book for inspiration.

Glace vanille au parfum de basilic (vanilla ice-cream flavoured with basil)

Yes basil. It just adds a peppery aftertaste which is really delicious and isn't at all over-powering. You do really need an ice-cream maker but if you haven't got on you need to regularly take the ice-cream out of the freezer to whisk it and break down the ice crystals.

Ingredients
1 vanilla pod plus a teaspoon of vanilla essence (the recipe asked for 3 vanilla pods but that is far too expensive)
8 medium egg yolks
200g caster sugar
300 ml chilled creme fraiche
2 tbsp finely snipped fresh basil

Put milk and vanilla in a saucepan and bring to boil over a low heat. Simmer gently for a few minutes then remove from the heat and allow to infuse for 30 mins.

Whisk egg yolks and sugar for around 5 mins. Remove vanilla pods from milk and pour a little at a time over the egg yolk and sugar mixture whisking vigorously.

Pour mix back into saucepan and return to a low heat. Bring to a fast simmer stirring all the time with a wooden spoon. The custard will thicken gradually until it can coat the back of a spoon. Take care not to allow the custard to boil or it will curdle. When thickened remove from the heat.

Strain through a sieve into a bowl and leave until it's completely cold. Whisk creme fraiche until stiff then fold in to the mixture along with the basil. Mix in an ice-cream maker than transfer to a suitable container and freeze until you need it.

Palets de chocolat aux noisettes (hazelnut and chocolate biscuits)

Not really a biscuit just melted chocolate and hazelnut which goes brilliantly with the ice-cream.

Ingredients
250 g chopped hazelnuts
500g best dark chocolate
3 tsp groundnut oil

Melt chocolate in a bowl over a boiling pan of hot water. Remove from the heat and whisk in the oil for 5 minutes. Add the toasted hazelnuts then spread a dessertspoon of the mix onto greaseproof paper - mix makes about 25-30 'palets'. Allow to harden and then serve with the ice-cream.

It certainly went down really well.
