Watermelon Lemonade recipe - ultimate thirst quencher

This is the one I bought but mine was the same without the slice!

During the week we grabbed a quick lunch locally and as the heat was overwhelming we opted for Watermelon Lemonade instead of the usual glass of rose. I have never tried this drink before (seems to be big in the USA) but as all my local shops are bursting at the seams with watermelons, and as it was both delicious and refreshing, I decided to make my own as it really is a fabulous summer recipe.

It was almost impossible to find an English recipe for watermelon lemonade but I do own a set of american measuring cups so I'm afraid the measurements are in those. But really you just need to be roughly accurate and use a bit of common sense. The secret is not to over-sugar the lemonade and to sieve it to get rid of the bits.

I used...

half a large watermelon with the flesh scooped out and the pips removed
2 cups of water
3 cups of water
1/2 cup of sugar
4 lemons

I liquidised the watermelon flesh then using the two cups of water, dissolved the sugar over a low heat. I then squeezed the lemons and added the lemon juice, the 3 cups of water and the sugar water to the watermelon which I had put through a sieve to get rid of the bits and extra pips.

Put in the fridge until really cold and serve with lots of ice. It's nice with some fresh mint leaves and of course if you have any left over melon it looks extra pretty with a slice. I can imagine it makes a brilliant mixer for vodka on a summers evening.

But how beautiful and stylish is this? And it would make my holiday travelling just that bit more glamorous.

It's plastic and shiny and because it has a clear exterior you can actually find things when you've gone into that 'zoned-out' condition on a long-haul flight. There are two zipped compartments, one for essentials to keep you comfortable at the start of your trip and one for landing. It's a nonsense of course but I do love a good design and this is a very good design complete with Anya Hindmarch bow.

Sebagai seorang pemuda yang masih duduk di bangku Kuliah, saya sendiri selalu mengintropeksi diri agar tidak iri atau berbuat jahat pada orang lain. We've had a rickshaw at the office and every bus seems to have the yellow and black polka dot bottle and packaging of the new Honey fragrance from Marc Jacobs, so with my love for honey fragrances, fresh citrus smells and all things to do with bees, I had to swing by John Lewis and squirt myself.

Courgette Salad with Hazelnuts - Yotam Ottolenghi recipe

This courgette and hazelnut salad is from Yotam Ottolenghi's cookbook, Plenty. Priced at £25 it's the sort of cookery book that you will return to all the time for inspiration. As it is vegetarian it's pretty healthy too - but I use a lot of the dishes to accompany meat and they really do lift a meal into the realms of the very special indeed.

This recipe I served alongside salmon and it really made for a superb summer supper perfect for healthy eating.

Ingredients

Hazelnuts

Courgettes

Parmesan cheese to shave on the top

Fresh Basil leaves

Olive Oil

I seasoned some olive oil with salt and pepper and  prepared the courgette by slicing them through at an angle into sliced. These were then covered in the olive oil and fried until nicely seared using a really hot griddle pan. Carefully turn them to do both sides then remove to cool. The hazelnuts I baked in the oven for around 10 mins then cut in half. The cold ingredients were then mixed into more olive oil and served with shavings of parmesan. I added a splash of Balsamic vinegar but you don't really need to as the basil leaves and roasted hazelnuts add a brilliant flavour all of their own. 

Apologies for the slightly dodgy photograph but I am always too hungry to dig out my camera when it's suppertime!

Pemasangan kode robot txt sebenarnya berbeda tergantung kebutuhan developersnya sendiri. Jadi, saya akan memberikan contoh kode yang baik dan dapat digunakan pada Blogger.

Cara Menggunakan Kode Robot TXT dengan Benar akan dibahas lengkap disini.
Robots.txt adalah suatu file yang di berguna untuk memudahkan suatu search engine mengindex halaman web anda. Jika search engine crawler datang di web kita, maka dia akan mencari file robots.txt dan memberitahukan search engine spider bahwa halaman web tersebut harus di index atau di abaikan.
Berikut beberapa kesalahan mengapa robot search engine menghindar dari web kita :

1. Robots.txt rusak atau berisi parameter yang salah
Jika robot google salah membaca isi robots.txt anda, maka google akan mengabaikan halaman web anda.
Anda bisa mempelajari tata cara penulisan robots di http://www.robotstxt.org/

2. Halaman web anda mempunyai code terlalu panjang
Jika halaman web anda berisikan code javascript, CSS, Html dan lainnya yang terlalu banyak dan panjang, maka akan membuat web anda susah di akses ( lambat aksesnya).
Jika itu terjadi maka robot search engine akan kesulitan untuk mengurai isi web anda.

3. Navigasi menu web anda mempunyai masalah
Jika anda membuat menu yang menggunakan javascript,DHTML atau AJAX, maka menu tersebut tidak bisa di index oleh robot search engine. Karena robot search engine hanya bisa mengindex link yang menggunakan HTML.

4. URL website anda masih bersifat URI dan banyak variabel
Jika url anda terlalu banyak variable, maka google juga akan mengabaikan halaman web anda. Kalian harus menggunakan URL yang dinamis dengan ekstensi yang jelas.
Contoh URL yang terlalu banyak variable :

http://domain.com/page.php?page=1&id=2&mirror=3&direct=index.html

Pernyataan resmi dari search engine google :
“Google indexes dynamically generated webpages, including .asp pages, .php pages, and pages with question marks in their URLs. However, these pages can cause problems for our crawler and may be ignored.”

5. Menggunakan session ID di web anda
Search engine google tidak mau mengindex suatu URL yang berisikan session ID karena menyebabkan duplicate content.
Penggunaan cookies lebih baik dari pada menggunakan session ID

2. Masuk ke rancangan/dashboard
3. Pilih menu Setelan
4. Klik submenu Preferensi Penelusuran

Aktifkan Robot.txt khusus dengan klik Edit , lalu pilih Enable : Yes

5. Masukkanlah kode robot.txt tadi didalamnya.

Superdry Bargain - iconic flip-flops

I am on the hunt for flip-flops. I want them in gold and I want to wear them in town as well as on the beach. Even though the style experts say that they should never be seen in town I just don't care.

Having said that I came across these brilliant Superdry flip flops which are not really stylish to wear as a sandal alternative but will definitely see me happy around the pool or beach.

At £14.99 (and this is including free delivery in the UK) they are reasonably priced and means I can buy into the Superdry label without looking too 'try hard'.

Stila All Over Shimmer Luminiser - perfect to set off a tan

Now I've got a nice, brown, base tan (and no longer a fake tan hurrah!) I want to enhance the shimmer. Not glow from sweat (well if I can help it) you understand, but a twinkle and highlight to my skin that will make it look youthful and glowing.

I grabbed a little file of Stila All Over Shimmer Luminiser in Kitten Shimmer (there is a more bronze, pink and rose gold version but I quite like the pinkiness of this shade) and have been using it to enhance my cheeks, forehead and neckline to great effect.

It's creamy, easy to use and minimises lines and wrinkles really well.
