Cara Membuat Sitemap Menggunakan PHP

Dalam membuat sebuah website, salah satu cara agar situs kita terindex adalah menggunakan sitemap. Sitemap adalah salah satu tahap sistematik yang digunakan oleh webmaster atau pengembang aplikasi berbasis web untuk memberitahu atau menginformasikan kepada mesin pencarian seperti Google tentang halaman yang telah dibuat untuk ditelusuri atau di index.

Pengertian sederhananya, sitemap menginformasikan kalau kita telah menulis sesuatu di web atau blog kita. Sitemap berisi daftar alamat url yang ada pada sebuah web dengan metadata tentang kapan tulisan itu dibuat, seberapa sering tulisan itu diperbaharui, seberapa penting tulisan itu untuk ditelusuri dan lain-lain.

Cara Membuat Sitemap bisa dengan menggunakan PHP, HTML, dan menggunakan layanan pembuat sitemap gratis. Gambar diatas merupakan contoh statistik url link yang telah terindex oleh webmaster. Proses untuk Google Webmaster Tools melakukan submit ke search engine kurang lebih memakan waktu 2-3 hari. Jadi, anda harus bersabar agar website anda dapat terindex dengan cepat.

Sebelumnya kita juga telah mengetahui cara membuat sitemap otomatis, dan membuat sitemap di Google / Bing Webmaster.

Pentingkah sitemap dibangun?
Sangat Penting. Tentunya, jika kita membuat sesuatu pasti ingin diketahui oleh banyak orang karena memang tujuan kita menulis atau mengembangkan aplikasi untuk membantu orang yang ada disekeliling kita. Terus, bagaimana cara membuat sitemap kalau saya tidak menggunakan CMS seperti WordPress, Drupal atau Blogspot? Itu dia pertanyaan yang bagus. Setelah mengenal apa itu sitemap maka kita akan membuat langkah dan tahapannya. Terdapat berbagai cara untuk membuat sitemap, namun tutorial ini memberikan referensi khusus bagi anda yang menggunakan PHP sebagai bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan.

Saya menyarankan menggunakan Simple Sitemaps karena panduan instalasinya lengkap dan tidak terlalu rumit dibandingkan yang lainnya.
