Why we should support our young designers Part II

The post about supporting young designers has been my most popular blog post to date, so I thought I'd share some more fashion inspiration from young UK designers that can be worn (or lusted after) whatever your age. More expensive than my last recommendations but still names you won't come across that easily, Young British Designers is worth a visit and adding to your favourites...

They feature designers from London Fashion Week but also from the Vauxhall Fashion Scout and those who come to fashion through a more surprising route they showcase as their Arising designers.

Here is what I wanted to put into my shopping basket...

This mini leather bag by Liverpool based designers Nook & Willow is a twist on a duffle and comes in at a strident £200 - it is the perfect size and will last across the seasons.

Heaven is a pair of pale pastel shoes and these Mint Orient numbers by favourite of Vogue and Elle magazines, Sophie Gittins will ensure you are well-shod for £350.
How can you resist?

Next on my list was this gorgeous jersey maxi dress for £225 by fine artist turned fashion designer Simeon Farrar with moon and stars details - for holidays, parties and the office it gets my vote as it would flatter even the most hour-glass of figures.
I love feather inspired jewellery and this yellow gold bracelet for £140 by Central St. Martin's LeiVanKash caught my eye immediately.
I am saving as we speak for this London College of Fashion graduate, Lako Bukia's midnight chiffon skirt which at £400 would have to be a wardrobe favourite that I come back to for a few years to come..

And finally, one for all you beauty bloggers out there, this She Died Of Beauty t-shirt from Super Model Erin O'Connor and stylist Kate Halfpenny, £40, says it all!
