Estee Lauder splashes the colour for summer

I am in love... Hot orange has always been a favourite colour of mine so when I was given (by a friend - it just wasn't their shade) a gorgeous bright orange eye-shadow in Orange Crush from Estee Lauder, I was a very happy bunny indeed. They also added in a fab and shiny Orange Crush lipgloss too. I notice it was reviewed by the expert team at Beautyandthedirt yesterday - so it's pretty hot-off-the-press. Apparently only available in Harvey Nichols for a limited amount of time - so you'd better dash off...

Now I do often find glosses can be difficult to wear as they often appear uneven and show up the even the tiniest lines around your mouth. But this one gives great coverage and depth of colour, so in my opinion, it's a winner. And as for the eye-shadow - it's a shocker! Maybe will wait for a high-summer tan before going out in public with this one...

I also forgot to mention that on Thursday evening we attended the P&G Beauty and Grooming Awards held at BAFTA - thank you P&G for those lovely but killer cocktails and delicious nibbles. And who knew that BAFTA overlooks a secret garden at the back when you're in the crush along the pavement on Piccadilly at the front?
