I have been using the Vichy Liftactiv Serum 10 for about a month now. My skin does look good and I must admit I am looking slightly less lined in terms of the tiny wrinkles you get especially under your eyes and around the mouth area - so am pretty impressed with it's efficacy. What I am not so impressed with is that it is slightly drying - well it is on my skin anyway, and you don't really need that especially when your skin tends to be drier anyway with age.
So using Vichy Liftactiv Serum 10 in conjunction with a good moisturiser is a must in my book. I have always been a fan of Biotherm, especially the Biotherm body-milk (check out my review) so decided to give the Biotherm Skin-Ergetic Moisturiser a trial.
Just like the body-milk it is fresh in fragrance, lovely and citrussy, and therefore does indeed perk your skin up after you use it. It is described as 'non-stop anti-fatigue moisturiser' and because it is so fresh and easily absorbed I must admit skin does feel soft and revitalised. Because it is easily absorbed and not too heavy (even though the formula is described as rich) it is perfect to use with a serum, I certainly don't like to feel I am over-loading my skin, especially when I then use make-up on top of it all.
Biotherm Skin-Ergetic Moisturiser has proved to be great in everything the weather (oh yes lots of snow) and consequently central heating abuse has attempted to do to my skin. I must say it has withstood it all and is not looking like we have been through some pretty harsh times. It's just a shame you can't say the same for the rest of me really!
Biotherm Skin-Ergetic Moisturiser, £33.70 for 50ml, is paraben and mineral-oil free and contains 5 fruit and vegetable extracts including apples, oranges and pomegranates. 97% of the ingredients are natural, and Biotherm advises applying it in the morning though I've been successfully using it at night-time too.
